Convention 2012!!

Im getting excited!! Next week 2 things are happening on the Stampin' Up! website.
1) we get the retired stamp list (very sad)
2) WE GET TO REGISTER FOR CONVENTION (sorry very excited about going this year)

Last year, my daughter was only 9 months old and there was just no way I was able to go. This year however, I have my room booked, I finally have a roommate/travelmate (my sideline Julie) is coming to her FIRST EVER!!! convention.

Ok so we have the rooms, I have signed up for several LNS group preconvention activities, an activity at the Hilton Hotel.

Hostess club

My next Hostess Club will be starting up on June 20. If you are interested in joining please let me know either by calling (250) 649-0902 or by email baileylm@gmail.com or on Facebook Leanna M Kerr

Don't know what the Hostess Club is all about?

Each month each participant makes a minimum $50 order (before Shipping/taxes). Each month someone is the hostess of the month. That person receives the hostess dollars (minimum $35). They get to spend that anyway you wish!! There are several Hostess Valued stamp sets near the front of the catalog that you can purchase, or you can purchase anything in the main Catalog or anything in the mini's (as they come out)

I am offering technique classes each month as well. If your part of the hostess club the Class is free to you to come. If you would like to attend the class and your not a part of the club, it will have a fee.

Sneak peak

Stampin' Up! had created a new die, which I cannot show you yet, but I can show you what I made with it. This die will be available with the new Catalog which will be available June 1/12.
Isn't it cute? I love this tiny purse. I just gave one to my downline Rosalyn and I threw in about 6-8 hersey kisses. It could fit 1-2 chapsticks as well.

Occasions Mini sample~ Tea Shoppe

Hey I'm back. Did you miss me?
Way back in July my dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 Bone/Lung Cancer. He did 2 rounds of radiation therapy, and 2 rounds of chemotherapy. One or the other made the masses grow much larger. So after the 2nd round of radiation therapy the Drs. working on dad's team gave him an application to move into Hospice. As dad was living alone, my dear brother lives far enough away from dad (but not a day and a half drive away like me) so he moved into Hospice on November 7 2011. Dad (rest his sole) passed away on November 24 at the age of 74. We were down there living at my dad's condo for the month of November and finally got home December 2nd.
Then it was the mad rush to get organized for Christmas.....
On January 6 we had to make the sad decision to put down my 11 year old Golden Red Toy Poodle. She had some breast tumors and while we were away in November she was in a local kennel when one of the masses that we had been watching grew to over 4 times its origninal size.
So now its January the 14, I'm moving on.....
Here is a card front I recently made for my team swap for next week. I used some new stuff from both the Occasions mini and the Sale-a-Bration catalogs.
Recipe:
Tea Shoppe stamp set (Occasions mini)
DSP (SAB)
Ink: Poppy Parade, Baha Breeze
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Very Vanilla
Embellishments: Lace trim Chantily
Thanks for looking and have a great day!
