Scallop Circle Die Christmas Ornaments

I just realized that I have not been here in a while. For me we have just been busy. For those of you who are friends know that I struggle with having an infertility disease. This past year we have been travelling from Prince George BC to Kelowna BC to see a specialist there.  In fact we are heading there later this month. We have switched from oral drugs to inject able drugs to help with fertility. (BTW did I mention I have a phobia of needles???) Anyways I am going to try to blog a little more regularity.

The following posts I made for a 3D swap. It was the 12 days of Christmas. I will try and post 2-3 a week or perhaps more time permitting. I will also try to include the link to where I found the tutorial or cased said item.

I belong to alot of different Stampin' Up! demonstrator email groups. I received this picture from one of the groups. These were featured on Patty Bennett's Blog http://www.pattystamps.typepad.com/ I actually have cased quite a few items from Patty's blog. Patty is one of the top leaders in the US Stampin' Up! Demonstrators, and has attended many trips that she has earned from Stampin' Up!

These were simple to make once I had all the items cut out. I did use retired product on these ornaments as the swap said we were allowed too.  The base of these I used chipboard and ran it through my Big Shot with the Scallop Circle Die. The circles were cut out using the circle framelits. I also used the Crochet Trim which I gathered, and retired Very Vanilla Grosgrain ribbon.

Thank you for stoppin' in, and have a Stampin' day!

Stampin' Up! Joyful Christmas

Feeling like Christmas?? I was working on some swaps and CASED this one. I found it on Spiltcoaststampers.com posters name is meshell1975. I however did not stamp the leaf stamp on the card, and I made the background cardstock larger than what she used.

I fussycut the poinsettia stamp images and the  leaves behind it. In order to make it more 3D I stamped the poinsettia image twice and cut out the smaller leaves and used a dimensional behind them.

Turkey Punch art

So apparently I haven't been here in a long time. I really need to concentrate on blogging more often. Anyways I got home from Convention in Salt Lake City in July with a lot of FREE Stampin' Up! product and samples. I will be posting pictures of this in the next few days.

I just finished making this card for my friend Cathy Bell's monthly card swap group. This is for Septembers swap. I cased the idea from Mary Fish's blog http://www.stampinpretty.com/2008/11/turkey-with-a-punch.html

I think she used the smaller circle punches for the turkey's body, I used the slightly larger ones.

Thanks for stopping and have a Stampin' Day!

Pre-convention

So I'm on my way to Convention in Salt Lake City. Here I am posting pictures of my swaps. I have cased most of these from the web. I apologize for not giving credit for them at this time, I do not have every ones name here with me

So these are all for organized swaps. The 3x3 card and the card candy are for the SUDSOL swaps, I have a 2nd Card Candy swap that is getting the rest on Stampin Connection, and the card in the middle is for my secret sister group we are having a little swap with those of us attending Convention.

Thanks for lookin and have a Stampin Day!

Ciao Baby! Hostess club gifties

I know I have been away for a long time. I had a goal of blogging a minimum of two times a week. Well, as you all know it, LIFE HAPPENS!!

You might not know this, right now I struggle with two things: weight loss and fertility. We are actively trying for baby #2. We know we have a "fertility problem". In March we went to our baby doctor and she had suggested IVF. After a specific blood test that was sent to the USA for testing, it was found that my levels were low, so the Dr said that IVF would be a waste of our money right now. Not only that but to do that procedure I would need to lose about 20 pounds in a very short time. Anyways moving on to today, the Dr and Nursing team have decided that we should move on to try Insemination. So that's what we are going to do later this month. Please say a prayer and keep your fingers and toes crossed that it works!!

On to my share today. I CASED this treat holder from http://inspirationink.typepad.com/inspiration-ink/ciao-baby/ Michele Reynolds. I changed up the ribbon as I didn't have that color on hand.

I was able to use up some of the Delicate Details Lace Tape that I had cut up for another project, but found it didn't work for it. Inside the treat holders is one Hersey Nugget.

Thanks for lookin' and have a Stampin' Day!

Stampin' Up! Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit

I came across this cute little box made with the Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit sometime last week. I thought that is super cute, and I HAVE to make that! It was on www.justspongeit.blogspot.ca (Cindee Wilkinson) blog, but as noted she found it on Stamping with Paula's blog. I have only made the one box, not the second treat holder as of yet, perhaps tomorrow when my bestie and new downline Jenn K comes over to do some crafting!

Yes I made four. Everything used was in the kit except the Calypso Coral Baker's Twine and the Calypso Coral card stock. I used four of the flowers on each box, and for a little hint of something something, I sprayed it with Vanilla Smooch Spritz. It definatly gave the flowers that little extra.

Stampin' Up! Everybunny Easter Cards #1

Is this not a cute card? Very clean and simple, ok and cased from Selene Kempton at www.stampinfunwithselene.blogspot.ca I did change one item that she used. I did have the item but as I decided to use this as a class card, I needed to have items that were current. So in place where the Razzleberry button and Island Indigo bakers twine was a Brad from the last spring. It was a limited edition item, and I only have one package of those here, not enough for a class.

Selene has the 4 cards on her blog that I have cased for my upcoming Easter Classes. March 1, 2 and 16. There are different times, if your interested in joining please let me know by Feb 21/13.

Stampin' Up! Sale-a-Bration "Vintage Verses" and "Field Flowers"

Isn't this a cute and simple card? I was on www.splitcoaststampers.com browsing through the section on Sale-a-bration and I came across a sample made by a poster named MargitsSchatztruhe, I'm guessing that she is from somewhere in Europe as her stamp says Weil Ich Dich So Mag. She said the simple translation of the text means: Because I like you so much.  Her card used Stippled blossoms for the flower, and she only used Soft Suede as the ink (a clean/simple card). I decided it needed some color.

Sale-a-bration Pretty Petites Thank you card

I'm working on two challenges here. One is a personal one. Since coming home from Stampin' Up! Leadership 2013 in Orlando Florida, I decided one of my goals was to post more samples onto my blog, as I have lacked the time to post in recent months. The second challenge is a SUDSOL challenge to create 5 Thank you cards in 15 minutes. Ok I didn't time myself on how long it took me to create these cards (I cased this card from one of the presenters from Leadership). It showcases two items available for FREE with our Sale-a-bration catalog.

So this is a very simple card.

Items used:

Primrose Petals Cardstock #126841 $8.50 Annual Catalog
Pool Party Cardstock #122924 $8.50 Annual Catalog
Whisper White Cardstock #100730 $9.25 Annual Catalog

Ink:
Early Espresso#126975 $7.25 Annual Catalog

Stamp Set:
Pretty Peties #129642 FREE Sale-a-bration Catalog
Petite Curly Punch #129405 FREEE Sale-a-bration Catalog

Extras:
1/2 Pearls #119247 $6.50 Annual Catalog
SNAIL104332 $9.75 Annual Catalog
Stampin' Dimensionals #104430 $5.25 Annual Catalog
Big Shot Embossing folder #129383 $9.95 Spring Mini Catalog
Curly Label Punch #119851 $22.95 Annual Catalog

If you were to order all these items your total before shipping/taxes would be $87.90 and you would be able to get one of the two Sale-a-bration items.
**Minimum order to receive a Sale-a-bration item is $60

You would be able to make 48 cards from the one package of Primrose Petels cardstock, and have plenty of extra cardstock with the Whisper White and Pool Party.
