Convention Countdown 2010

T minus 2 days until we load up Carri's truck (SUV) and head on out! I am trying to figure out how to pack everything, as we will end up on a plane. I dont want my swaps to get crushed!! My dear hubby showed me a trick with his back (it expands about 1 1/2 inches) whoohoo!! I was getting worried that I wasnt going to be able to get everything in my bag. That and Im only allowed my purse as a carry on, so I know that my swaps will not fit in there. I know I still have to post pictures of my swaps. So much to do so little time.

I was invited to sign up for the Recruit Crew this past week, and yesterday they handed out the schedule of the work we need to complete. I looked at the date on it and thought "are they crazy?" The first modual needs to be completed by July 27. Well, I will be just getting home on the 27 from Convention. Am I impressed? No because not only do I need to complete that by the 27 my upline wants me to complete a scrapbook page by the 29 (the day we are moving.) Basicly, when I get back from SLC, I will have no internet (as my dh will have pulled my desk and computer apart ready to move) and my SU! stuff that is new, will be packed up as well. So please explain to me when/how am I suppose to get all this done?

Convention count down

I cannot believe that I havent posted to my blog since April 21. I have to say the last few months have been extremely busy. Most of you know that I'm pregnant~Im currently 28 weeks along. My wonderful fiance and I got married May 29. We have also been house hunting as well. Our house was on the market for less than one week and we had a 3 way bidding war on our wonderful duplex townhouse. We have purchased a new place, and are looking forward to starting a new chapter in our lives together.

Speaking of which, the new place has a HUGE space for me to have as my workshop. So Im hoping to have classes in the fall. I will be also starting a new Hostess club come Sept 1.

I have new Summer Minis available. They run from May 1-Aug 31. Not only that but July 1st 2010 Stampin' Up! launched their new IBC. Ask me for your copy today!!

I'm heading off to Salt Lake City Utah for Stampin' Up! Convention July 22-24. Hoping to come back with some wonderful ideas for projects, scrapbooking and cardmaking.

If you are looking for a home based business, why not give Stampin' Up! a try? I love what I do, and love to share it with you too! LNS-Challenge 56 Butterflies

I was over at my upline's house again yesterday. I wanted to make a card for the challenge, but I also needed to make 2 cards for my SS. As I was creating the card guess who arrived at the door? Mr. Brown (Ok we live in PG Canada--We dont have a Mr. Brown, but you get it) she had ordered the Butterfly Embosslit, and I was the first to use it!!!

A Good Egg

Ok so I goofed again. Maybe I need to take a tutorial on how to post my pictures?
So this card is for a monthly card swap on SCS (this one keeps me busy thanks Cathy!)
Anyways the stamps used:
A good egg
Well Scripted
Paper:
Rich Razzleberry, pale plum, whisper white.
DSP:
Rich Razzleberry
I colored in the chick, and used glue pen to adhear the Dazzling Diamonds (this was the first time I have used these and lets just say that I end up with a few on my clothes, in my hair, on my face and all over my work space)
This card was finished last week at my upline's house. Carri is so wonderful I love you to bits Carri!! She has this amazing studio, and she lets me use all her "toys". Cuz being a downline means your just starting out, and dont have them all yet! Not only that but shes helped me figure out what colors go together and which ones really shouldn't be together!

Well Scripted/Wedding Sweet

Ok so I still dont know how to rotate my pictures. Im sorry. So this is for a swap an All Occasions card swap on SCS. The background stamp is from Sweet Wedding (purchased because I will be making my own Wedding cards for my special day of 10.10.10)
The Congratulations stamp is from the new set from the Occasions Mini called Well Scripted. This set can be purchased either in our wood block stamps or in the new CLEAR MOUNTED stamps.

Sense of Time

This is the anniversary card I created (with help from Carri). This is for my dear fiance's parents. They celebrate their anniversary late Feb.
I will be posting more of the cards I created this past weekend shortly.

Double pocket card

I had cased a tutorial from SCS on how to make a double pocket card. Well, after step 4 I couldn't figure it out. So I got my upline Carri to make this one. Isn't it stinkin' cute? Carri you are too talented!! I can't wait to come back this week to create more cards at your studio!

Messages for Mom

This is one of the new stamp sets in the Occasions mini cattie.

Its January...

With January comes the new Occasions mini cattie and Sale-a-bration!! So many new choices, where does one start? Stampin' Up! had something really new this year.... (drum roll please) Im pleased to announce that we have CLEAR MOUNTED STAMPS!! Ok the skinny on these is they are still the rubber stamps we have loved, but now we have a choice of choosing either wood mounted or the new CLEAR MOUNTED stamp sets (but only in the Occasions Mini Cattie). We also sell the different sized blocks to mount them onto.

Sale-a-bration, ask me how you can get one of these sets for FREE!!
**Hint spend $65 before taxes/shipping and you get to pick either stamps/punch or paper for free.
