Convention 2010~ yes that is correct

Ok you all are going to laugh at me. So last year, I attended convention. Three days after I got home, we finished packing up our house and moved. Did I mention I was 7 months pregnant when I went to Convention and moved? I think you can tell where this is heading. I just found the make and takes that were handed out last year. So for kicks and giggles, I thought why not finish them up and post to my blog. So have finished them and (praying) I will post one a day for this coming week.

Stamp set: Just Believe

Card stock: Old olive, Daffodil Delight, Peach arfait, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White. (there are 6 itty bitty cards inside)

Till tomorrow, have a great day.

My new SU! friend Tammy and I have become each others "lifeline" sort of speak. We are challening each other to get stuff on our blogs more regularly. We also will be participating in one of our group(s) weekly challenge to post to our blog within the week.

So here is my first Make/Take from Convention 2010.

Sad news

The doctor's have given him 6 months to 1 year left to enjoy his precious granddaughter. So far he is still in a lot of pain, and the chemo is making him tired and sick. Sorry I dont know how to rotate these. On the left is Faux silk techinque as posted in Jan 2010 SS, the right is stamping on tissue paper on candles. Both are very quick and easy to do.

Hi everyone,

I just realized that I havent blogged since Sept. OMG lots has happened in my life since then.
On Oct 6th 2o10 we welcomed our blessed daughter Nicola Leigh. She came into the world via C-section at 1045pm weighing in at 12 pounds 3 oz. Yes I said 12 pounds 3 oz. We left the hospital on Oct 9th 2010 and did not celebrate Thanksgiving this year. Nicola was our holiday Turkey!!

Both Colin's parents and his brother and sister-in-law, my adopted family, and my dad and little brother have come to visit with us or we came to them. We drove to Kelowna where my adopted family lives to purchase a new vehical as my little car wasnt big enough for the 3 of us and our dog anymore. We purchased a 2004 Jeep Grande Cherokee Larado. So now we can make road trips.

Christmas 2010 was a little quiet for us, my dad and little brother manage to make the 9 hour drive from Vancouver to join us for a couple of days.
