Borderline Buddies

Ok so you all know its Wednesday and its Borderline Buddies day. Its 1024pm on Tuesday Aug 19th and Im now getting this post up for all of you. So it will be up and ontime this week Susan!!

This weeks challenge is from Susan you can check out her creation at:   http://susan-stampinsue.blogspot.ca/
Susan's challenge was to use Washi Tape. I'm thinking to myself, ok Susan I can do this, had to break open my brand new 2014 Holiday Mini Washi Tape to play as I do not have any other current Washi tape to use.

What you see here is a Leanna original creation. I had seen something like this posted but they had used the new Designer Series Paper (now I don't know why someone would do that to perfectly good paper, other than maybe they had scraps and wanted to use them up somehow.)

Items used:

Stamp set: (holiday mini hostess set) sorry cant name it yet
Card stock: Pear Pizzazz, Basic Grey, Whisper White
Ink: Lost Lagoon
Extra's: Snail, Washi tape (from the holiday mini) sorry cant name it yet either

Holiday mini goes live on Aug 28th 2014. If you do not have yours and would like one please contact me and I will get one out to you right away.

Thanks for lookin' and have a Stampin' day!

Very late, Borderline Buddies

I am so sorry that I didn't get this post up earlier today. Those of you know where my home town is, Prince George BC Canada (northern BC). We are experincing a very long heat wave up here. By my calculations we have not had rain in over  a month here. We also seem to be the bowl area to where the smoke from the wild fires seems to just sit over us for days.

Anyways enough of the excuses.

This week I choose the challenge. The challenge was to continue posting samples that we have created with the Big Shot as it is the promotion of the month. To check out what Susan has created please go to her blog found here at:   http://susan-stampinsue.blogspot.ca/

My sample which will be a card swap. It was cased I do aplogize I didn't keep my cheat note that said who created this.

I actually had fun making this card. You know some cards you finish making it (especially swap cards) and you wonder "why did I choose this?"

Items used:

Stamp set: Be the Star, Good Greetings (Holiday mini Hostess set)
Ink: Mossy Meadow, Cherry Cobbler.
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow
Extras: Snail, Glue dots, Dimensionals, Tea doily, Natural twine, Mossy Meadow ribbon, 1 1/4 inch striped Grosgrain ribbon, sticky strip, Big Shot, Star Framelits, Stylish Stripe embossing folder

My hostesses

So I run a monthly hostess club, where each member makes a minimum order of $50 before shipping/taxes each month. Each month one of the ladies is the "hostess" the hostess receives a minimum of $35 in FREE PRODUCT of her choice.

Each month I create (CASE) something as a little thank you for their order. Last month's order just arrived here today and my wonderful ladies will be receiving this cute little treat.

I posted these on here earlier, these ones though I made up today in a mass hurry. My "to do list" has grown very large and I knew their order was arriving today so they had to get done.

After I had finished dying the ribbon, my daughter (Miss N) and I met up with some friends for dinner. She decided to laugh at me because my hands were that color. I wont add the supply list  here as it is already posted.

Thanks for lookin' and have a Stampin' day!

Crafting retreat

Hey fellow crafters, I am planning a crafting retreat with my downline Rosalyn. Just curious as to which month would be better for you? October or November. This event will be held locally here in Prince George at a local hotel. We will also be securing a few rooms for those that would like to not have to drive home late at night.

You can email me at kerr_leanna@yahoo.ca or call me at 250 649 0902 if you are interested in attending and being placed on my contact list when we have the event planned.
