Occasions Mini sample~ Tea Shoppe
Hey I'm back. Did you miss me?
Way back in July my dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 Bone/Lung Cancer. He did 2 rounds of radiation therapy, and 2 rounds of chemotherapy. One or the other made the masses grow much larger. So after the 2nd round of radiation therapy the Drs. working on dad's team gave him an application to move into Hospice. As dad was living alone, my dear brother lives far enough away from dad (but not a day and a half drive away like me) so he moved into Hospice on November 7 2011. Dad (rest his sole) passed away on November 24 at the age of 74. We were down there living at my dad's condo for the month of November and finally got home December 2nd.
Then it was the mad rush to get organized for Christmas.....
On January 6 we had to make the sad decision to put down my 11 year old Golden Red Toy Poodle. She had some breast tumors and while we were away in November she was in a local kennel when one of the masses that we had been watching grew to over 4 times its origninal size.
So now its January the 14, I'm moving on.....
Here is a card front I recently made for my team swap for next week. I used some new stuff from both the Occasions mini and the Sale-a-Bration catalogs.
Recipe:
Tea Shoppe stamp set (Occasions mini)
DSP (SAB)
Ink: Poppy Parade, Baha Breeze
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Very Vanilla
Embellishments: Lace trim Chantily
Thanks for looking and have a great day!
