Challenge from my Upline Carri

At our Christmas downline get together, Carri challenged each of us to create 2 projects with Tissue paper. She had been give a whole wack of it just before our meeting. This is what I came up with. Sorry I dont know how to rotate these. On the left is Faux silk techinque as posted in Jan 2010 SS, the right is stamping on tissue paper on candles. Both are very quick and easy to do.

Updated

Hi everyone,

I just realized that I havent blogged since Sept. OMG lots has happened in my life since then.
On Oct 6th 2o10 we welcomed our blessed daughter Nicola Leigh. She came into the world via C-section at 1045pm weighing in at 12 pounds 3 oz. Yes I said 12 pounds 3 oz. We left the hospital on Oct 9th 2010 and did not celebrate Thanksgiving this year. Nicola was our holiday Turkey!!

Both Colin's parents and his brother and sister-in-law, my adopted family, and my dad and little brother have come to visit with us or we came to them. We drove to Kelowna where my adopted family lives to purchase a new vehical as my little car wasnt big enough for the 3 of us and our dog anymore. We purchased a 2004 Jeep Grande Cherokee Larado. So now we can make road trips.

Christmas 2010 was a little quiet for us, my dad and little brother manage to make the 9 hour drive from Vancouver to join us for a couple of days.

Convention Countdown 2010

T minus 2 days until we load up Carri's truck (SUV) and head on out! I am trying to figure out how to pack everything, as we will end up on a plane. I dont want my swaps to get crushed!! My dear hubby showed me a trick with his back (it expands about 1 1/2 inches) whoohoo!! I was getting worried that I wasnt going to be able to get everything in my bag. That and Im only allowed my purse as a carry on, so I know that my swaps will not fit in there. I know I still have to post pictures of my swaps. So much to do so little time.

I was invited to sign up for the Recruit Crew this past week, and yesterday they handed out the schedule of the work we need to complete. I looked at the date on it and thought "are they crazy?" The first modual needs to be completed by July 27. Well, I will be just getting home on the 27 from Convention. Am I impressed? No because not only do I need to complete that by the 27 my upline wants me to complete a scrapbook page by the 29 (the day we are moving.) Basicly, when I get back from SLC, I will have no internet (as my dh will have pulled my desk and computer apart ready to move) and my SU! stuff that is new, will be packed up as well. So please explain to me when/how am I suppose to get all this done?
