Welcome to Wednesday and BORDERLINE BUDDIES! Ok to todays challenge was given by Susan. She choose the Pop up Card. Which I thought was odd because that was our first challenge. I made one although she may have a disagreement with me on what a pop up card and an card in a box card are pretty much the same. I may have to go back and make another card here quickly for this challenge. Apparently what I thought it was and what I'm seeing today are totally DIFFERENT! Check out what Susan has posted click on this link: http://susan-stampinsue.blogspot.ca/

This is my first card.

Items used:
Stamp set: Blooming with Kindness, Papillon Potpourri
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Whisper White

Anyways here is my replacement card should I have messed up.

Now I know this for sure is a Pop Up Type Card. I actually have never made this type of card before. It was fairly easy to make. Stampin' Up! Perfect Pennants Card Candy

HI Friends its Monday, and I'm late posting. So sorry. My inlaws arrived from out of town last night and I have been working the early shift at work so last night was an early night to bed.

I joined a swap that my friend Cathy Bell organized. I joined 2 spots in the current swap, she also had a retired product card candy swap running as well.

I love making card candy. Card candy you must be wondering what it is. Card candy is something you can put on your Scrapbook pages as a focal point, or add it to a card. Its great if you do not own that stamp set you can get a lot of great ideas. When I'm participating in a Card Candy swap, I will do a search with the stamp set I want to use in mind. I look for cards that I recreate the focal point. I like making card candy because it uses up a lot of scraps! These are great for giving to secret sisters too.

Items Used:

Stamp set: Perfect Pennants
Card stock: Random scraps, Crumb cake for the backing, Coastal Cobana for the topper, and window sheets
Extra's: Glue dots and Dimensionals(you will use a lot of these to adhear  the card candy to the backing. Buttons, Doillys, Rhinestones, 1/3 pearls, glitter paper, natural twine, Small heart punch, Boho Blossoms punch, Perfect Pennents Framelits, Scallop topper punch

Thanks for lookin' and have a Stampin' day!

I was going to double post this on Wednesday post like I usually do, however I decided Im short of time this week (and of samples!) I needed two quick cards on my list of many this week. Borderling Buddies

Hi Friends here is my second post for today and its Borderling Buddies time!! So as you know my bff Susan who lives in the USA and I have been challenging each other since last month to work with product that is announced the week before and post by Wednesday to our blogs and provide a link to the others blog soeveryone can see what we created.

This weeks theme is Spring time. As always there is no limit as to what is spring time, could be flowers or Easter or anything inbetween. So I choose Easter. I actually have been busy making a lot of Easter themed items right now, and you will continue to see what I have been creating in the upcoming weeks.

I decided to go with this card. I goofed it a little. I was aiming for a 4x4 card instead this was cut 8x8 and scored at 4. It does work, and with our new Envelope Punch Board you can make the envelope for it.
This was cased, I did change up the paper and the sentiment. To see the card that I cased from go to: http://paperpunchaddiction.com/2010/03/bunny-behind-card.html  The link to see what Susan has created:

Stampin' Up! Eggstra Spectaular Circle Treat box

Hi Friends, I'm not sure where my weekend got to, however apparently I forgot to work on my blog postings for this week. Normally I do them on Sunday evenings after my daughter has gone to bed. I just must have been too tired last night. Anyways my downline Rosalyn and I were suppose to be putting on a 12 hour crafting retreat on March 1 2014. However Rosalyn pointed out to me that we did not have enough participants to make this venture a success so we cancelled it. Anyways I had been making up samples of the gifties we were going to have on the tables for each of the ladies attending so my posts this week are going to be those samples that I made.

This cute (almost fry box) was cased from a Canadian Demo Andrea Walford her link is: http://andreawalford.com/tutorials/circle-easter-treat-box I found it really simple, I used some DSP but with the scoring that you do to the paper, you might want to consider Cardstock and stamp on it instead. I also used the new Fringed Scissors to make the grass for inside the box.

Items Used:

Stamp set: Eggstra Spectaular
Card stock: Rich Razzleberry, Rose Red
Designer Series Paper: Retired Subtles stack
Ink: Black Stazon
Extras: snail, Fringed scissors, Retired Pretty in Pink Grosgrain ribbon, cellophane bags

Thanks for lookin' and have a Stampin' day
